Nika is designed as a local-first private AI agent for meeting notes, recordings, transcripts, summaries, and to-dos. This policy explains how Nika handles information in the current release.
Information Nika Handles
Nika may store meeting titles, recordings, transcripts, summaries, action items, to-dos, app settings, and on-device AI model preferences that you create in the app.
Nika may request microphone access only when you choose to start a recording. Recording is user-started and visible in the app.

AI-generated summaries, transcripts, and tasks may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review AI output before relying on it or sharing it.
Accounts, Payments, and Sync
Nika does not require an account to start using the app in this release.
Account login, payment, subscription, and sync features are not included in this release.
Sharing and Disclosure
Nika does not sell your personal information.
Nika does not intentionally share your meeting content, recordings, transcripts, summaries, or to-dos with third parties in this release.

Microphone permission is used to record meetings only after you choose to start recording.
Notification permission may be used for recording controls and task reminders.
Local authentication may be used for app lock on supported devices.
